Great help for car sick pup,
The DAP spray came in handy for when we cruised in the truck. My puppy would get car (truck) sick from anxiety (per my vet) so I would spray a little all over one of his favorite toys and take it with us placing it where he could smell it and his anxiety dropped to where he no longer would vomit. This has progressed to where he no longer really needs it. It was a very effective tool for us.

|spray did not work,
I returned this product for the diffuser. My dog was a bit itchy from the spray on his bandana and I noticed no other difference. I had selected the spray because I have two dogs and they were going to a pet sitter’s house. Since she houses other dogs including her own I could not expect her to plug in a diffuser that some other dog parents might not want. Sadly, this did not work. Amazon was terrific about the return.

|Separation Distress Eased,
My four year old basset hound (female) would be very distressed when I would leave her at home. The anxiety for her was so great that she would mess up the area rugs by raking them up in a pile, dump a basket that held her lead, harness and collar, knock all of the shoes off the holding rack in the front hall, and dump her food dish upside down.
I tried the diffuser with her, and for my dog it worked beautifully (my vet warned me it works for about 60% of the people she recommends this product). No more incidents of what I described after first use. However, it’s spring and heading into summer, and I leave my windows open in good weather. The diffuser isn’t as effective. My vet suggested the spray which I mist over my dog’s sleeping bed about 15 minutes before I leave. It’s worked as effectively as the diffuser.
Again, this may not work for all dogs, but for my dog it was a great treatment without giving her prescription meds for anxiety.
