this is dumb because they won’t just do exactly what we want on the first
try so it would be helpful if she would give tips for when they just sit
there and stare at it
@jonvegard31 They don’t really learn that way. My dog has to do the trick
to get the treat because if you give then the treat before the trick
they’re gonna think they’ll get the treat anyways and won’t learn anything.
ha he has 2 dog training shows “superfetch” and “who let the dogs out” and
you say that he sucks? are you mental?

tis wont work
my dog suddenly jumps and snaps my hand when i put my hand above her
head…how do i stop her from doing that?
i got a beagle at the shelter and the first day we had him he could do this
on command 😀

@heartbreakersVY it is good to have treats after your dog does a trick for
a reward.
so you will need at about 1000 bags of dog food to learn your dog this
trick and fat your dog to 😀
I have a Yorkie, and she’ll do it if I stick my hand out near her head, but
she rests her paws on my hand (I use the same signal as you) and if I pull
my hand further up, she assumes its the cue for “dance” and she’ll dance..
Even though the cue for dance is snapping my fingers.. What should I
should?

I can’t even get my Chihuahua to sit XD ;-; I need help teaching her. I
always give up after 1 hour because SHE DOES NOTHING BUT EAT THE TREAT

my shih tzu did it on his own by accident so i trained him to do it on
command
@hanniel04 ok well first of all (not to be rude) don’t try comparing your
dog to this one. This dog is reviewing he’s clearly been taught this trick
already which is why he does it flawlessly. I’ve had this same problem with
many dogs. He’s trying to build his balance. For deep chested or large dogs
this trick can be the equivalent of doing a hand stand for us. Try standing
behind him and have him put his back to your legs . Then support his chest
with your hand. Keep him baited too.

The thing that annoys me is that not every dog is that calm. For example,
after I watched this I tried to teach my 1 year old dog Rebbel. But instead
of being gentle he almost bit my hand off! To be honest, these videos teach
you how to train dogs that already know every trick. This is what makes
these videos pointless and a waste of time.

Thanks this was the best video I found. My dog sits as you said in the
beggining, instead of following the treat. I am excited to try this with
her!
I taught my dog to spin without watching a How To video and she learned
very quick. She gets on her hind legs and spins around shes a little show
off :P
My dog just plays dead as soon as I try this haha
