I’ve been told never to get down at the puppy’s level in order to maintain dominance. Honestly, the more puppy-training vids I watch, the more confused I get. Tons of contradictory advice.
More victoria Stilwell training videos please
Victoria Stilwell is my favorite dog trainer. I can’t believe she’s not doing Me or the Dog any more.
If it could care less, then that means it still cares
That puppie could care less about you calling its name it just wants that toy
What type for treats are you using, and by the way I really like your videos.
what breed is Dylan???
Labrador.
I like all your training videos so much. I am a huge fan of dogs and specially little puppies when they give me my puppy in agust im going to train her just like you Victoria
I can’t get used to seeing Victoria not wearing all black…but at least the accent is still there.
I think you might be giving your dog the wrong treats. I believe you can buy treats for pups like urs, are you using them or regular treats? because I think that would be ur problem. I am pretty sure the reason he is not chewing them well is because he is only a week old so his teeth are like…. undeveloped.
Hi Victoria. I started to teach my puppy tricks about a week old. He is a 11-week-old labdoodle. The problem is that he does not seem to chew the treats I gave them very well, and he did throw up 2 times for the past week due to the treats ( some sorta peanut butter treats). Do you have any suggestions on the treats? Thanks.
What if my dog is an idiot?
There was no background given on that video, but it seems that this dog has had a history of biting people. Clearly, there is something out of place with it. In a case like this, it is not worth taking huge risks such as simply rehoming it. That little girl was bitten in so many places… the next time the dog bites someone the results could be fatal.
Too many people see putting a dog down as a terrible thing… but it’s quick, painless and humane. It was the responsible thing to do.

It does seem to me like she did actually make a huge mistake and mistook a dog that bit a child (Which is something you can’t blame a dog for at times, children can be silly with dogs.) as incurably aggressive and he got put down?
A new home would have been fine with an experienced dog handler, yet he just got put down because of her saying that he’s untrainable and has a mental disorder – according to her. It’s sad. After seeing that I don’t want to look at these vids.
what breed is it that fucker is cute
my puppy dont like treats, what can i give her instead of that?
….wonder if this works on the wife
I don’t really want to be mean but, I seriously think you are exaggerating, jumping to conclusions to quickly and being judgemental.
I’m sure that if this is true, the dog had a veryyyy unique condition, where the best option was to put it to sleep. Besides, putting a dog to sleep is painless and humane. Doing that probably would’ve made things better for everyone, including the dog.
Do they remember the things they are taught.
CAUTION: Victoria Stillwell has failed dogs in the past.
I stopped listening to her when I heard SHE HAD A DOG PUT TO SLEEP AFTER SHE FAILED TO TRAIN IT.
I just got a Boston Terrier puppy and found your videos, I just wanted to say THANK YOU!
I want to thank you for all these great advice and I am going to subscribe. I hope all these advice would work because this could teach me. I watched a lot of your videos and hoping me two fogs will be more behaved.
