I have been breeding Havanese for a decade. Our family has always had a GSD. I am breeding my GSD bitch hoping for a male pup to add to the family. Glad I watched, I keep my Hav pups for ten weeks for the same reason mentioned, I often wondered why GSD breeders sent them out at 7 weeks, I happen to think it has something to do with the mayhem I’m in for LOL! I may never do it again, but at least I can do it right the first time.

Awesome video!!! I totally agree with everything that you’re doing to ensure that the puppies are well adapted to the outside world!!! this video reminds me of my dog…….i wish my dog sassie was a baby again but its too late…..she’s a big dog now..she’s not cute anymore…but…..i said but…..she makes me happy and she turned from cute to pretty….and she bites people that she dont know…thats why i love german shepherds 🙂

This is an amazing video. I am a new GSD owner. My little Nikita is 7 weeks old. I have been working on training her myself and it seems a bit difficult. She has chewed three of my phone chargers and she is still pottying in the house even after just going out side. I wish I lived closer to a training facility.
Please do, I live in NY and I’m looking for a GSD this summer!

gah tried to comment on my own comment bellow to continue what i was gonna say… but anyways the ones in you video theird tails kinda curls and so does his… and 3. he howls and barks allot with excitement just like a husky would and his fur is kinda longish….
so my mom has been thinking he is a Mix and isn’t pure bred because the tail curls and for the way he walks she thinks he doesn’t walk like normal German Shepherd. :
thinking of seeing these babies we picked up a German Shepherd thinking he maybe mix because we took him to our vet and she has worked with cats and dogs (we are apart of a rescue and we got him for our selves X3) andyways she worked with them for sevral years.. anyways when we took him in she said he is 10 weeks old looking at the teeth and hard to tell if purebred when that young… and now 12 weeks old ish and we aren’t sure if he is pure bred 1. he’s small 2. his tail curls (these in vid do)
