How old is Dublin in this video?

  2. Kassie Lemons says:

I can’t wait to see the next one I’m getting my first guide dog in May and
    congerats to you a Dublin

  3. PuppyInTraining says:

@mikomoable Thanks Miko! Dublin was awesome with the Chickens and
roosters…Yeah Lulu isn’t so kind to the birds. She just wants to bring
    you presents. 🙂

  4. caddyismygirl says:

@PuppyInTraining Are there any main differences? Like why one would choose
to raise for GDB instead if GDA.. or vice versa. I am currently a raiser
for GDB, and i didn’t know there were any other programs for raising in CA.

What’s the difference between Guide Dogs of America and Guide Dogs for the
    Blind?

  6. Penny Stevenson says:

Good job Dublin… he was so super calm despite all the distractions…

  7. rissamorita says:

Great video! It looks like Dublin is doing a great job. Has he visited
    Disneyland yet?

  8. Sharon R. Grant says:

Your doing a great job with your training and I loved the video! Awesome
field trip! Dublin looks like he will make an awesome guide dog! Enjoy him!

@Valkyrir4 there was a lot going on at the bus training and at Knott’s
Berry Farm. Dublin had no problems with all the new sights, sounds, and
smells. I was very impressed how he handled everything going on that day.

  10. Miko Morita says:

He’s so cute and such a good boy Colby. I love seeing him with the Roosters
and Chickens. What a good boy, he hardly reacted to them. I wish Lulu was
    that good with birds.

@caddyismygirl I actually applied as a puppy raiser at three schools: Guide
Dogs of America, Guide Dogs for the Blind, and Guide Dogs of the Desert
which is located in Palm Springs. GDD never responded back to me. However,
I attended meeting for both GDA and GDB. There were two main reasons why I
chose GDA. First, I connected better with the raisers in the GDA group.
Second, the GDA campus was much closer so I could attend events and
    graduations more easily.

@GuideDogGrownUp I really like the name Moxie. Our Orange County group has
a couple puppy raisers picking up puppies on Monday. I believe they’re
getting Miles and Nicholas. I can’t wait to see all the upcoming pictures
    and videos.

  13. PuppyInTraining says:

@caddyismygirl Guide Dogs of America and Guide Dogs for the Blind are two
different organizations that provide Guide Dogs for blind and visually
impaired people. Guide Dogs of America is located in Sylmar, CA. Guide Dog
for the Blind has two campuses one in San Rafael, CA and the other is in
    Boring, OR.

  14. Alexis E says:

He’s doing so well! He’s so calm. We pick up Moxie on Monday. Hooray for
    staring again.

  15. PuppyInTraining says:

@ritatayenaka thanks Rita! We had a great time and love going on our group
outings. Unfortunately I didn’t get much video at our Irvine Park outing or
at the Who Dun It. At some point I’ll probably put together a compilation
of several different outings into one video.

  16. PuppyInTraining says:

@SullivanOlssen Thanks! Dublin is doing very well in his training. He has
his six month evaluation coming up in a few days and I’m confident that
will go well for him too.

  17. PuppyInTraining says:

@Rissa thanks! Dublin is doing real well in his training. Dublin has not
been to Disneyland yet. We’ll probably wait a while before we make a trip
to Disneyland. The crowds can get a little overwhelming for the puppies and
I seem to recall more loud noises at Disney such as canon shots, parades,
    and fireworks compared to Knott’s.
