This is a nice quick guide on taking care of and training a puppy. As a novice dog person I found almost everything in the book useful. I know you can’t just get a puppy and ignore proper training and this book will help you get your puppy training routine on track.
What I do know is that there is nothing better than having a nice sweet loyal dog that will be there for you no matter what. Dogs are great pets and dog owners have a responsibility to learn how to care for and raise them properly.

I had been consider moving from a cat to a dog and I’m glad I read this eBook. It gave me a real overview of what I’d be signing up for, let’s face it cats can go on autopilot and a dog is a real commitment. However let’s not swing too far the other way either, by following “Raising The Perfect Puppy: Step by Step Training Guide to a Well-Behaved Dog” you’ll invest a little time on the front end and in return you’ll have a solid dog that will provide years of companionship with few problems. One item I really like about this book is the discussion regarding pure breed or mixed breed dogs as there is no high brow push here just solid advice that helps you determine the best breed for you. All the basic are covered with just the right amount of information from how to proof the home to positive training as well as how to correct basic problems. Also the ever evasive how to properly walk a dog on a leash is covered in great detail with great advice. Great advice and a great book.

Good, solid, ethical advice on training your new puppy. Works on any dog. Also good advice about choosing a dog as well and not just from a breeder but explores other options. Great value read!
