Where Is The Food Aggression
A hungry dog will not listen to so many commands when they are focused on
the food. First you wanted him to speak, then sit and lie down. Don’t
believe me, he was running around yelping almost the entire time. Just make
the dog sit for his food, not make him do a bizillion tricks to get it,
very irresponsible and unfair.:/

I have a 7 week rottie too, he doesnt like the leash or do obidience and im
trying the best i can to get him understand im the boss help with some tips
please?
thank you.. right on the mark; repetition of commands. also, i think being
impatient and not letting him wait a little longer. furthermore, repeating
the word OK on random parts of the commands and sentences and trying to
talk to the dog. he is our first ever dog we owned and trained ourselves.
all the the above led to a little bit of problems in my end. patience is
important in training/life i guess thats what he taught us. LOL!
Never tell your dog to wait more than once. Because you’re actually
teaching it not to wait on the first command. (Wait).
you repeated yourself alot but what eles? i could tell he was a dominate
pack leader type if he only 7 weeks with that courage. but you were on top
of that early. looks like a VERY smart dog sometimes too smart eh? lol. but
you know your stuff. props to not owning loaded guns!
ya im next. im very natural to owning a dog, but i repeat alot and talk to
them too. i just like seeing young dogs being treated like dogs instead of
babys. and even took training to the next level? very nice
he was on taste of the wild formulas until 8 months old; i switched him
over to diamond naturals and he has been on this formula since then. you
can check dogfoodanyalysis or dogfoodadvisor for more info on kibbles. he
also eats raw meat whenever we can get him some. just don’t overfeed your
pup as ours has never leaves any scraps in his dish and can finish it up in
less than a minute. in the two+ years we have owned him it seems like he
was always hungry.
@KLP2566 make sure you do ur homework. a well bred rotti is alot of dog to
handle. especially males. def read and research alot
very true.. he is our first dog and we don’t know better.. thanks!
Almost two years later and I watched this video again. I now realize I made
a few mistakes, can you spot them?
what are you feeding your rottweiler. Have a 12 week old rottie and need to
figure out his diet.
Which is o.k if you’re willing to learn. You have a dominant breed there
and must be a pack leader.
hey, do you think a Rottweiler as a first dog is a bad idea?? i really want
one!!
@KLP2566 This is our first dog, now 1 yr old (120#). 10#/month so training
starts immediately. Big, strong, confident, willful, hardheaded, loyal,
protective, and very intelligent. Don’t let INTELLIGENT fool you as it
might be easy to teach him something, but the hard thing is will he do it?
Needs lots of 1 on 1 attention. Socialization was the best thing I did for
him as he met lots dogs/people when he was still a pup. For a first dog be
very prepared, cuz it ain’t ez keepn a rotti.
I let our Rottweiler named Molly watch that. Great video.
Hey, Wait a minute!
Good looking dog. Reminds me of my rotty Chief.
